Behind Siam Seaplane's journey is a team of passionate individuals working to bring new possibilities to aviation in Thailand. Meet Natthapol Kittitadachaikul, or Army, whose journey in aviation began with a childhood fear of flying that eventually turned into a lifelong passion.

At just 13 years old, a flight changed his perspective on aviation. After nearly a decade without flying, Army found himself fascinated by how such a massive aircraft could travel through the sky. That curiosity soon grew into a passion for aircraft, leading him to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
After graduating, he began his career in aviation consulting, working on a feasibility study for an aviation maintenance training centre in Thailand. However, his ambition to contribute more directly to the country's aviation development eventually brought him to Siam Seaplane.

At Siam Seaplane, his role connects regulatory, operational, and commercial activities to help turn potential destinations into future seaplane landing sites.
From assessing operational feasibility and environmental considerations to coordinating with authorities and local partners, his work involves navigating challenges in an industry that is still relatively new to Thailand.
What he enjoys most is the opportunity to explore new destinations, meet people from different backgrounds, and see potential landing sites firsthand.
Nothing compares to standing by the water, feeling the sea breeze, and imagining the day when Siam Seaplane's aircraft will finally land there.
For him, working in a startup also means embracing challenges, thinking creatively, and collaborating with colleagues who share the same vision.

His passion for exploration continues outside work. He enjoys travelling across Thailand, discovering hidden destinations, trying local restaurants, and capturing moments through photography.
Among his favourite places are Sweden, where he spent six months as an exchange student, and Koh Phi Phi, which he particularly enjoys during the quieter low season.
As a true aviation enthusiast, he also has a soft spot for iconic aircraft. While the Boeing 777-300ER first inspired his love for aviation and the Cessna 208 holds special memories, the Boeing 747 remains his all-time favourite, the legendary "Queen of the Skies."
For him, bringing seaplanes to Thailand is about more than introducing a new way to travel. It's about creating opportunities to connect destinations, support local communities, and contribute to sustainable tourism development.
He believes Siam Seaplane's first water landing will be an important milestone, opening doors for future collaboration and helping people better understand the possibilities of seaplane aviation.
From an aircraft enthusiast to someone helping shape the future of aviation in Thailand, Army’s journey is a reminder that passion, curiosity, and determination can turn ambitious ideas into reality.
