What happens when design thinking meets the open skies?
Meet Pitchapa 'BB' Asawathitirat, Marketing Manager at Siam Seaplane. Creative, direct, and perpetually curious, BB is far from your typical marketing strategist. Whether she’s exploring new marketing strategies, seeking new tech tools to optimize her team’s workflow, collecting art toys, or planning a trip to Patagonia, BB brings a fresh, authentic perspective to everything she touches at Siam Seaplane.
BB spent six years studying high school in India before returning to Thailand to pursue both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Design Business and Technology Management at Thammasat University.
Her time in India was challenging but also a memorable experience that shaped the way she sees the world. At Thammasat, she developed her creativity and learned to turn ideas into practical solutions through projects with organisations and communities.
Aviation was never part of her original plan. BB was drawn to the industry because flying had always seemed exciting, and the idea of introducing seaplanes to Thailand was something completely new.
She has since grown from Marketing Associate to Marketing Manager, covering everything from digital and offline marketing to PR, communications, and strategy. She also enjoys exploring new technology and tools that can make the team’s work more effective.
One of her proudest projects was helping get Siam Seaplane featured in Monocle magazine.
“To be honest, I only realized after the story was published just how prestigious the magazine is across Europe, which made seeing us in print an even sweeter surprise!”

What BB enjoys most about her work is being part of an international team where ideas are welcomed and opinions matter.
"I’d describe myself as someone who loves creativity, but always grounded by realistic planning. While technology and the modern world excite me, I believe authenticity should never be lost."

Outside work, BB enjoys collecting toys and figures, exploring art spaces, hiking, exercising, travelling, and spending time with her dog. She is also slowly building her list of adventures, with skydiving on the bucket list and Patagonia as a dream destination.
One thing that still excites her most about Siam Seaplane is getting to fly on the company’s Cessna Grand Caravan and experience different destinations from above. Looking ahead, she is excited to see how seaplanes can help connect regional destinations and open up access to some of Thailand’s lesser-known places.
For BB, there is always something new to explore and that is what makes the journey exciting.

For BB, seaplane travel isn't just about luxury — it’s about opening up doors to Thailand’s lesser-known regions and building meaningful connections.
"My goal is to make seaplane travel feel both extraordinary and familiar across the region—helping people see aviation as something closer to everyday life. At the same time, I want to keep building Siam Seaplane into an authentic brand powered by genuine storytelling."
