Saving emissions, guaranteed zero contaminants, and no underwater disturbance? Find out about environmental impact of seaplanes, and what Siam Seaplane does to ensure safe and sustainable operations.
Emission Reduction 48%
Time Savings 59% (2.5 hours less)
Conventional aviation fuel has both CO2 & lead emissions.
The highly efficient Pratt & Whitney turbine engines utilize highly refined kerosene as fuel which is up to 90% more efficient than conventional piston engines.
Turbine engines emit zero lead into the environment unlike conventional aircraft.
Unlike conventional aircraft, the Cessna Grand Caravan EX is designed to have all fuel and oil contained in canisters approved by the Environmental Protection Agency which allows us to guarantee zero contaminants making their way to the natural habitat.
Seaplane propellers are not submerged
Minimal immersion of aircraft floats in the water
There are 26 species of whales and dolphins in Thailand.
Whales and dolphins communicate and navigate with ‘echolocation.’
High frequency noise produced by propellers from ships and boats
disturb echolocation and stress marine life.

In light of global findings on virtually no environmental impact caused by seaplanes, as well as specific domestic studies conducted in-house, Siam Seaplane has the support and approval from the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), Thailand, to operate on pre-planned sites without the requirement for Initial Environmental Examinations (IEEs) or Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
