When every minute counts, bridging the gap between remote locations and advanced medical care is critical. At Siam Seaplane, we are redefining patient transport across Thailand. Through strategic partnerships and rigorous operational development, our upcoming Aeromedical Transport for Special Categories of Passengers (SCPs) will provide rapid, reliable, and safe transfers for patients in need across Thailand. At Siam Seaplane, every flight we operate in strict compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) regulations and the Thailand Civil Aviation Requirements (TCAR), ensuring that our aeromedical transport services meet the highest national and international aviation standards.
Whether serving a regional private hospital, a medical hub, or a provincial state medical center outside Bangkok, our aeromedical capabilities are designed to function as a seamless extension of the existing healthcare infrastructure. The versatility of the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX makes it an exceptional platform for aeromedical transport missions, combining short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability, a spacious cabin, and an extra-wide rear cargo door that facilitates the efficient loading and transfer of patient stretchers. To guarantee operational excellence, our aircraft undergo rigorous maintenance and engineering assessments to safely integrate life-saving medical equipment. Every mission is governed by a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS), which systematically evaluates and mitigates risks prior to departure. At Siam Seaplane, safety and preparation come before every mission. As part of our continued development of aeromedical transport capabilities, on 9th and 10th July 2026, we recently completed a live patient transfer demonstration using our Cessna Grand Caravan (C208) in collaboration with National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM) and Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University
The exercise simulated the complete ground transfer process, from ambulance arrival and aircraft coordination to patient-handling procedures, safety briefings, and emergency evacuation familiarization. The demonstration enabled us to validate procedures, identify operational improvements, and further strengthen our operational manuals and safety standards.

This milestone reflects our commitment to building a safe, efficient, and reliable aeromedical transport service for Thailand. By working closely with healthcare partners and continuously refining our procedures, we are laying the foundation for rapid patient transfers when every minute matters.
We look forward to partnering with hospitals, healthcare providers, and emergency response organizations to expand access to dependable aeromedical transport and support better patient care across the country.
While our current airport-to-airport charter capabilities provide crucial regional connectivity, the future of our medevac service goes beyond the tarmac. Our plan for 2027 is to introduce amphibious operations, unlocking rapid and reliable access to remote areas. This will enable us to execute direct offshore and island transfers, picking up patients directly from water landing sites and transporting them to medical hubs.
