Under the Hood — Ground Ops

Maintaining our Cessna Grand Caravan EX is a complex process, and our operations team plays a crucial role in keeping it running smoothly and safely. The team works tirelessly behind the scenes currently at Best Ocean Airpark to ensure that the aircraft is always in top condition. One of the newest members of our team is Suvicha Pokpong, or Khun Jeep — a highly trained, experienced and certified aircraft engineer. He is responsible for the regular maintenance of our Grand Caravan. “Safety in the air begins with quality maintenance on the ground,” is K. Jeep’s philosophy.

The whole operations team meticulously follows a rigorous maintenance schedule and procedures to ensure that the aircraft is serviced on time and according to internal and air authority regulations. From changing the oil to inspecting the engine and ensuring that all systems are working correctly, our team takes great care in maintaining the aircraft to the highest standards. “Our team ensures both ground and flight operations are set up to meet the best safety standards. Also, we are actively monitoring new and updated regulations from the air authority and making sure we strictly follow them all,” says Dheeruth Leelawat, Commercial & Operations.

Despite best efforts, unexpected issues can sometimes arise. However, our operations team is always ready to handle any adjustments that may be necessary. Their expertise enables them to promptly diagnose and repair any issue that may occur.
